Our team has some sad news to share. Our outstanding Dairy Management Specialist, Camila Lage, is leaving Cornell Cooperative Extension as of May 1st, 2024.
Camila will be transitioning into a new role with Zoetis where she will be working with dairy producers in Western New York. While we're sad to see her leave, we're very excited for her in her new role - and are grateful that she is staying in our region.
Camila has been with our team for almost three years, and has been an incredible person to work with. She's developed genuine relationships with our regions farmers and stakeholders and created outstanding programs, resources, and initiatives.

We will work within our team's expertise and the greater statewide network to continue dairy specific programming until the position is filled. Perfect for beginners or experienced users needing a refresher. We'll cover safety features and basic maintenance of the modern saw and learn kickback prevention techniques. Participants will be able to try on various PPE and learn ergonomic practices. Interested participants will learn to safely start up, throttle up, and turn off a saw. You may bring our own saw if you choose, there will be no cutting in this class.
