Livestock Production Field Day

What you'll learn during this field day:

• How to raise and manage beef cattle, chickens, turkeys, and pigs for meat production
• What is needed to process and sell meat in New York
• How to set prices and find local markets
• Learn directly from small-scale producers who raise livestock for meat and sell their products

Schedule for Saturday, August 29th:

3:00pm - 5:30pm - Farm Tour of Troll Bridge Farm, Chaffee, NY

5:30pm - 6:00pm - Travel to second Farm

6:00pm - 8:30pm - Dinner and farm tour at Horizon Ridge Farm, East Aurora, NY

This program will be offered in English and Spanish with simultaneous translation.
