Corn silage harvest is drawing near. The way corn silage is harvested and stored is a single event that affects your operation for the entire next year. Are you prepared to set your operation up for success? Attend the following on-farm Corn Silage Pre-Harvest workshops to hear the latest research-backed strategies you can implement on your dairy this corn silage season.


Speakers and topics to include:
  • Jodi Putman Field Crops Specialist; NWNY Team: State crop conditions and hybrid considerations; packing and covering of bunkers.
  • Eric Crop Manager; Dziedzic Farms LLC: Farm management decisions and adjustments made during the 2019 crop season
  • Seth Conway Monroe Tractor: Pre-Harvest Yield Monitor Preparation.
  • Margaret Quaassdorff NWNY CCE Dairy Management Specialist: Monitoring incoming corn silage (DM, kernel processing, chop length).
