Robot Farm Tours

July 20, 2017


Tour two dairy farms with robotic milking facilities and learn about how each producer makes technology work for their farm. *Please note that this workshop is targeted for producers who are considering transitioning to robotic milkers, not the general public.

10 am - Meet at Lisleview Farm, 2143 River St, Lisle.  Guest speaker Bob Church with Fingerlakes Dairy Service will answer questions related to setup and transition to robotic milkers.  Owner Chuck Mras will also be available to answer questions about his facility.  

Noon - 1 pm - lunch break and travel to next farm (on your own)

1 pm - Meet at Hilltop Divine Dairy, 6026 Dawson Rd, Cortland.  Owners Carlton Dawson and Kevin Streeter will answer questions related to technology that they use from the robots and how their free-flow system works.  

3 pm - safe travels home!
