Automated Milking Systems Efficiency: Balancing Focus on Individual Cows and System Optimization

Wednesday, May 8, 2024
12 to 1 p.m. ET

Live webinar

Join us for a live webinar on May 8th, 2024, at noon (ET), where we will discuss the most recent research and practical aspects about efficiency on automated milking systems (AMS).

You will be hearing from Dr Pablo Silva, researcher at Teagasc in Ireland. Dr Silva has worked with AMS in Chile, USA, and Ireland and has more than 10 years of experience in the dairy industry.

At this webinar you will learn about different strategies to increase efficiency during milking and to motivate voluntary visits and we will have a discussion about the importance of optimizing the milking of each cow or focusing on the efficiency of the robot.

The webinar is free and open to anyone interested in learning more about managing cows in AMS. After the presentations, we'll have an open Q&A session where attendees can ask their questions about this important topic.

Registration is required and will be accepted until May 7 at 11:59 pm ET. Participants will receive the Zoom webinar invitation after their registration is confirmed. A recording of the webinar will also be made available to registered participants.

Automated milking system efficiency is a collaborative extension program of Michigan State University Extension and the Cornell Cooperative Extension SWNY Dairy, livestock, and field crops program. Don't miss out on this informative and engaging webinar. Register now!
