Pastured Poultry Production Workshop

Come and hear from area poultry producers on all aspects of raising poultry on pasture. Bob Ott, Bennington Beefalo; Fred Forsburg, Honeyhill Farm; and Hermann Weber, HLW Acres will be talking about their operations. Nancy Glazier, NWNY Team will provide an overview of production and budgeting. The workshop is focusing on raising chicken for meat, but the audience will get useful information for egg layers, too.

Co-hosted by New York Soil Health and Cornell CALS, the annual conference brings together leaders in organic grain, dairy, and livestock systems to share practical tools, new research, and farmer-tested strategies to support resilient and profitable organic production.
