June will discuss the economic benefits of correcting soil health so pasture plants will provide the quality and quantity of feed desired for grazing livestock.

Fay is working on a research study looking at fodder system feeding on dairies.

Guest Speaker:

June Grabemeyer is recently retired agricultural economist, who has worked for many years for the Natural Resource Conservation Service, most recently in Michigan. Her work has included economic analysis of conservation practices. Her work has looked extensively at the economic benefits of pasture management practices. She conducted training programs for NRCS and Soil and Water Conservation District staff in Michigan. She has presented her work at the National Forage and Grassland Conference.
