Grain Marketing Workshop

February 6, 2014

â??While crop prices are often at a premium this time of year, farmers can be hesitant to do any marketing because of our perceptions of the risk of selling a crop we do not yet have. This seminar will explore a straight forward, disciplined marketing plan to illustrate the pros and cons of a few key decision points and available pricing tools,â?? Berry said. â??We will learn how to size up the pre-harvest market, make decisions on whether it makes sense to price grain, and practice with available pricing tools, using actual daily market prices to make real life grain marketing decisions.â??
