Calf & Heifer Congress - 2015 "Manage What Matters"

Day 1: will feature a look at facilities, environment and health during the afternoon session from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. It's our pleasure to feature Sheila McGuirk, DVM as the lead off speaker for the session. During the evening dinner presentations the challenges and new regulations related to antibiotic use will be discussed from 6:45 - 9:00 p.m.

Day 2: will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 5:00 p.m. Drs. Sheila McGuirk and Franklyn Garry will be featured in the morning speaking on the impacts of dystocia, health risk assessment, scoring by severity of illness and strategies for disease control. Drs. Mike Van Amburgh and Bob Corbett will team up after lunch to look at the research, biology and field experiences of providing consistent superior management from birth to calving. A moderated producer panel will reflect on their replacement operations and what their take home points will be from the conference.

A key component of this conference is the financial support provided by industry organizations. These contributions enable us to maintain the high quality of the conferences we offer and are an opportunity for organizations to be recognized as an integral part of these dynamic programs.
