Piglet Health 101 - Batavia, NY

The New York Pork Producers is offering a series of piglet processing workshops around the state in mid-February.

 

  • February 13th 8am - 11am - Batavia at CCE Genesee
  • February 13th 4pm - 7pm - Cortland at the NYS Grange
  • February 14th 9am - 12pm - Vorheesville at CCE Albany

 

The workshop will be led by two veterinarians, Drs. Steven and Matthew Patterson, from Passion for Pigs to teach hands-on skills including vaccination, castration, needle teeth clipping, tail docking, ear notching, scour prevention, and splay leg correction.

 

The workshop is free and open to producers of all experience levels. Registration is required, and space is limited to ensure a full experience for all. Please share this with your networks. Interested persons can register here: https://nyppci.wildapricot.org/Events/
