You're invited to our Farmers' Potluck Picnic & Tour at Groundwork Market Garden on Saturday, June 4th, from 5:30-7:30 pm. Please note that this has been rescheduled from May 28th.
Come to learn about how we're building community among farmers in WNY!
Welcoming farmers of all ages and experience levels and people who work on farms for a farm tour and evening of connection.
Our group is working to launch a local chapter of the National Young Farmers Coalition.
We're excited about:
-Sharing ideas
-Pooling resources
-Networking with a purpose!
Community is what farmers do best (aside from growing amazing food). We can't wait to see you there!

The Young Farmers Coalition works to transform agriculture in service to our communities and stewardship of our natural resources, requiring farmers of all ages! Supporting a new generation of working farms will require leadership and engagement by all generations of farmers. We welcome farmers of all ages who share this vision to join our new chapter.

Purpose of Program
Attractive dairy farms give the consumer greater confidence in the wholesomeness of milk and stimulate milk sales which encourages public support of the dairy industry. The award gives recognition to the dairy farmer for maintaining a well-kept farmstead.
Virtual Egg Count Training for Sheep and Goats
April 23, 2026 : Virtual Fecal Egg Count Training for Sheep and Goats
Amy Barkley and Rachel Moody, Livestock Specialists with Cornell Cooperative Extension, will take attendees through the why, how, and interpretation of fecal egg count testing for sheep and goats using the McMaster method.
