Low Stress Cattle Handling Clinic for Dairy Producers

Led by talented presenter and renowned stockmanship instructor, Curt pate, this special event focuses on handling metholds to improve dairy cattle movement through all parts of the dariy facility. From freestall to parlor, bedded pack and maternity pens, to loading and hauling, special emphasis will be placed on effective cattle handling to improve cow comfort and productivity.

There is no cost associated with the training and a lunch will follow the event.

Co-hosted by New York Soil Health and Cornell CALS, the annual conference brings together leaders in organic grain, dairy, and livestock systems to share practical tools, new research, and farmer-tested strategies to support resilient and profitable organic production.
