This series of 3 workshops will start with:

Week 1: Tuesday, February 4 from 10:00am - Noon at CCE Niagara
  • Introduction to Precision Agriculture
  • Components of Precision Ag Equipment
  • Agricultural management philosophy

Week 2: Tuesday, February 18 from 10:00am - Noon at CCE Niagara
  • Precision soil sampling vs. grid sampling
  • Soil electric conductivity (EC) and how to measure It
  • Site specific management and variable rate applications
  • Principles of mapping and its importance to PA

Week 3: Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 10:00am - Noon at CCE Niagara
  • Introduction to NDVI
  • Economics of using Precision Agriculture
  • Methodology and evaluation Precision Agriculture

Join us as we explore the opportunities for resiliency that come from adding tree crops or managing wooded areas of your farm for agroforestry or silvopasture systems.
