Sheep Farm Evolution

November 16, 2020

Sheep Farm Evolution

Tours are kind of tough in the age of CoVid and winter is coming on...so I propose we do some shepherds' zooms and hear about other farms and ideas they have. I am thinking once a month would be interesting and easy with no commuting in the snow!

Ashley McFarland, Area Specialist with the Central NY Dairy, Livestock & Field Crops Team, will tell us about growing up on a sheep farm and how that shaped her current farming enterprise. Over the years, most of us adapt and evolve our style of farming to fit our lifestyle, other jobs, other family members and our beliefs. What can we learn from listening to other people's stories? Do you have someone you would like to hear from?

Register Here to join us for a webinar with Ashley. It's Free!
