Sponsor Request - Cornell Cooperative Extension Farmer Tax School Series - Sponsorship Opportunities

Navigating Income Tax rules, regulations, and management can be a difficult and frustrating process for farms. To help provide farm businesses with the resources that they can leverage to better improve their tax positions, a group of Cornell Cooperative Extension Farm Business Management Specialists across the state are working to put together a series of tax management webinars and trainings in October 2021 through January 2022. We've enclosed a draft flier that goes into more detail about training topics and learning objectives.
In an effort to keep the program cost to the farm as low as possible, we are seeking sponsorships from agricultural financial services agencies of all shapes and sizes. Your sponsorship will help us provide low-cost, high-quality, research-based education to NYS farmers. This will also provide you with an opportunity to show your support and promote your business in your community and across the state.
For a sponsorship fee of $100 we will list your business in our "directory" that will be provided to each of the participants. This listing will include your business name, contact information, and a description of the services you offer. The listing will put your business identity right in front of farmers as they are learning about tax planning, and we will provide your information to participants in paper and electronic format.
Your sponsorship will help to pay for the effort needed to design and develop a course like this, provide printed resources and materials to participants. We are expecting to have many participants from across the state and across commodities participate in this program.
